Collectively, I’ve hired, trained, and supervised over 250 individuals during my time with Penn State. On average, I have 20 – 25 individuals on staff each academic year.

Personally assist students and individuals with varying disabilities: autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, dissociative disorder, schizophrenia, learning disabilities, hard of hearing, blind and visually impaired, physical conditions: POTS, cancer, migraines, concussions, traumatic brain injuries

Facilitated visit with clients of Frederick County Scott Key Center to learn about the Penn State campus. This required collaboration with Housing & Food Services, Admissions, Lion Ambassadors, Student Disability Resources

🔹61% of all appointments were for academic advocacy while 39% were for content specific tutoring. In total, there were 1538 1:1 appointments in the academic support center with the largest number of appointments falling into the category of the professional STEM tutor. (This is an average of 3 appointments per student enrolled.)

🔹451 student contacts were made through academic based workshops. An average of 25 students attended each workshop provided.

🔹Department average for all student athletes was above a 3.00.

🔹123 students, faculty, staff participated in the annual Brains & Games event.

🔹529 personal 1:1 appointments with students for advising, disability services, and other academic support

🔹85 total students served through the Student Disability Resource Office (I am the only individual on our campus support this population)
